September Wellness Tip

Late September weather is an invitation to stay indoors more, curl up with a good book and enjoy more nourishing food. Going for a walk, a swim or a bicycle ride seems more of an effort when it's both cold and raining.

Don't let the weather interfere with your wellbeing. Set a goal of the number of minutes you want to exercise every week - I set 210 minutes as my goal - that's 30 minutes seven times a week. O.K., I don't reach that goal every week, but it happens often enough when I add up walking, swimming and ballroom dancing and lots of stairs.
